Jannie de Jager
It’s a happy reunion at DWR Distribution as the team welcomes back Jannie de Jager, this time to the Workshop and Service Department.
Jannie previously held the position of Technical Support particularly on MA Lighting and led the Training Department. In his new role, he will be providing technical support, assisting with repairs, ordering parts, helping with administrative tasks, and ensuring the timely return of client equipment.
Bruce Riley, Technical Director at DWR comments, “It’s Jannie’s personality, his willingness to help clients at all costs, his attitude towards clients and his attitude towards life along with his technical expertise, that makes him an invaluable addition to our team.”

The Workshop team is known for their commitment to going the extra mile, often with a touch of humour. Says Jannie, “I’ll be working a lot closer with Bruce and we’ve always worked well together. I also look forward to working with my good mate Tyler Pugin – we make a good team.”
After leaving DWR near the end of 2021, Jannie is thrilled to be back. “As much as you think you know everybody and that everything will be the same when you return, there has been a lot of change, new additions to the team and people I don’t know, so it’s very exciting. The company has expanded over the years and that’s good.”
For those curious about his fitness routine, Jannie still hits the gym from 5:30 to 6:30 every morning, training five days a week. It looks like his ready to help carry and load and to make the workshop support team even stronger!
