Establish your role in the L-Acoustics ecosystem and align your practice with the latest tools and state-of-the-art workflow. Join Richard Smith from DWR Distribution on 23 May from 9 am to 4 pm.

 

The System and Workflow training course is the foundation for all other L-Acoustics training sessions. Delegates must pass this course and receive certification before they can attend other L-Acoustics workshops at DWR Distribution. Please also note that as the L-Acoustics classes may not exceed 12 people, DWR cannot guarantee space on the other courses presented in May even if you pass this course.

 

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the L-Acoustics system approach in the global framework of live sound reproduction
  • Know the components of an L-Acoustics system
  • Understand the workflow steps of a loudspeaker system project and the associated professional roles
  • Know the L-Acoustics tools to use along the project workflow

Number of participants:

  • Maximum: 12
  • Minimum attendance: 6

Prerequisites

  • Experience in live sound reproduction
  • Technical English

Required equipment

  • Computer with a mouse
  • Latest version of Soundvision and LA Network Manager installed
  • Notepad and pen

The course will be hosted at DWR Distribution, Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.

The cost is R200 per person and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
