DWR Distribution to host Exhibition, 29 – 30 July!

Robert Izzett, Duncan Riley and Bruce Riley look forward to welcoming you to the DWR Expo to be held on 29 and 30 July 2024.

 

DWR Distribution, in collaboration with our international suppliers, is excited to host an exhibition on 29 and 30 July from 10 am to 5 pm at our offices in Johannesburg. Each supplier will have their own stand showcasing a variety of equipment and solutions including lighting, audio, LED screens, projectors, pro audio equipment and safety gear. Additionally, there will be short workshops throughout the event.

 

“Since 2019, there haven’t been any exhibitions in South Africa specifically for the live events industry. So, we decided to invite our suppliers to the country to set up exhibition stands and host demonstrations,” commented Duncan Riley of DWR. “This is a fantastic opportunity to check out the latest equipment, watch live demos, and connect with others with similar interests.”

 

Visitors can expect to engage with representatives from leading companies such as Absen, Barco, Chainmaster, DiGiCo, Doughty, DSpecialists (Harvey), Fenix Stage, L-Acoustics, Layher, MA Lighting, Mondiale Technology, Neutrik, Prolyte, Quest Engineering, RAM Mountaineering, RCF, Robe Lighting, Sennheiser, Sharp NEC, Special Industrial Supplies, Theatrixx and Visual Productions.

 

Robert Izzett from DWR comments, “Everyone is welcome to attend, and we believe the expo will be of particular interest to System Integrators, the Pro Audio Market, Stage & Rental Companies, Houses of Worship, Schools and Students, Freelancers, Film and TV Studios, and those interested in technology in this field!”

15:00               Discover Encore 3 (David Vandevelde, Barco)

DWR Party:

 

During this event, Duncan will also be celebrating his 50th birthday. “The party is  themed “Back to the Future” and will take place on 30 July from 5:30 pm,” said Bruce Riley from DWR. “Guests can look forward to a performance by the phenomenal Ross Learmonth and entertainment by DJ Luis Almeida. It will be fun and we hope to see you there.”

 

Both the expo and party will be held at DWR Distribution, Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.
