Prolyte Rigging Training: Week 2

Once again DWR Distribution takes pleasure in inviting you to attend the Prolyte Rigging Training course in conjunction with Prolyte and Rhino Rigs. The course will be held from 1 to 6 February and 8 to 13 February.

The course is set to be practical and will also include topics like safety, machinery and equipment, maintenance, lifting materials, force calculations and load tables to mention but a few.

The international recognized five day course, presented by Rinus Bakker from Rhino Rigs, includes certification. Interested delegates must be competent in Mathematics. The sixth day will be reserved for a practical training session presented by DWR’s Robert Izzett and Keith Pugin.

Delegates are to provide the following:

1 x Red Pen, 1 x Blue Pen, 1x Black Pen, 1x Calculator and 1m of Rope. The Training will take place at DWR in Johannesburg and delegates can select the most appropriate date for themselves based on a first come, first served basis.

Wire Rope & Wire Rope Slings

Slinging Standards & Methods

Support Reaction calculations

Bridle Force calculations

Cost: R7974.30 inclusive of VAT per person and includes lunch and refreshments. Due to limited space, bookings will only be made on a 50% deposit.
