L-Acoustics Drive Training, JHB

Master the configuration, control, and monitoring of an L-Acoustics system from the source output to the loudspeaker inputs at a training session presented by Richard Smith on 14 March from 9am to 5pm at DWR Distribution. Delegates wishing to participate are required to have L-Acoustics certification: System & Workflow or System Fundamentals.

Learning Objectives

• Identify the components and functionalities of the L-Acoustics drive system within the audio chain
• Implement the drive system hardware so that it is ready for calibration and operation
• Use LA Network manager software for the control and monitoring of the L-Acoustics drive system
• Understand the AVB-Milan audio distribution framework

Prerequisites

• L-Acoustics certification: System & Workflow or System Fundamentals
• Experience in live sound reproduction
• Technical English

Required equipment

• Computer with a mouse
• Latest version of Soundvision and LA Network Manager installed
• Notepad and pen

The cost is R250 per person and includes a light lunch and refreshments. Please note that refunds are not available for courses. If your course registration is cancelled, at least 72 hours in advance, you’ll receive a credit for the paid fees, usable for re-registration or rescheduling within one year from the initial course cancellation date. Not showing up without notice does not qualify for the rescheduling credit.

The training will be held at DWR Distribution, Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.
