Cape Town DiGiCo SD Training

DWR Distribution is delighted to announce DiGiCo SD Training to be hosted by Kyle Robson on 6 April from 9am to 4pm at the Cape Audio College in Observatory, Cape Town.

The training course, designed for those who have a basic understanding of audio consoles, will provide delegates with an overview of the SD series and the necessary knowledge to set up and operate the console at a basic level. Delegates will learn about the console, racks and MADi systems.

The course will cover the following topics:

• Console Layout
• Connectivity, I/O and MADI
• Racks and Optocore Loops
• Resetting and configuring from scratch
• Patching
• Channel operations (such as Gain, EQ, Dynamics)
• Using Control Groups, Macros, Auxes and Matrix
• Utilising GEQs and Effects

The cost is R300 per person which will be refunded on completion of the course. Cancellations should please be made 48 hours in advance to secure your refund.

You are welcome to bring your own lunch or purchase snacks from the onsite kiosk.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the following protocols will be adhered to:

• Delegates to please report to reception where you will be directed to the venue.
• Screening and logging of each participant
• Masks must be worn during the course
• Parking off campus in surrounding area
