Advanced Lighting & Audio Technical Training for Houses of Worship

DWR Distribution takes great pleasure in inviting technical teams and volunteers at Houses of Worship to join us for Advanced Lighting and Audio Technical Training at our offices in Johannesburg. The lighting workshop presented by Michael Taylor-Broderick will take place on 25 April and the audio session by Jaco Beukes will take place on 26 April 2023 from 9 am to 4 pm.

If you are a worship leader or help create beauty on stage with the use of technology, we believe this course would be beneficial to you. In 2021, DWR started hosting courses aimed at churches. The workshops were held again in 2022, and this year, Jaco and Michael hope to take delegates to a new level to inspire!

Advanced Lighting – 25 April

Technology has changed in churches and is relied on to share the message. Internationally there is a shift in how worship is presented. Michael will cover the following topics:

• A fresh approach to lighting church stages.
• How to make a design fit your church’s identity.
• Making the most of the tools you have.

Advanced Audio – 26 April

Jaco, in turn, will unlock the secrets to creating a balanced mix at the upcoming audio mixing workshop. Delegates can look forward to the following:

• An in-depth experience that will take you through the essential techniques and tools used by industry professionals.
• Whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out, the session will provide hands-on guidance and insider tips to help you master the art of audio mixing.

Cost: R250 per day which includes lunch. If you attend both days, the cost is R500.
