Namibian-based technical supplier, dB Audio, is excited to announce the expansion of its Absen NT2.9 LED stock to over 80sqm of an identical batch of panels supplied by South African distributor, DWR Distribution.

To put this investment in context, it’s important to consider how small the Namibian industry is compared to the South African industry which is evident from the population difference between the two countries. While South Africa has a population of around 64 million, Namibia’s population is only 3 million. This disparity in size and scale makes dB Audio’s strategic investment in LED technology even more noteworthy, as it supports the local market’s needs despite a smaller economy.

David Benade, founder of dB Audio Namibia, explained the rationale behind this investment, “Over the years, we have made every effort to invest in our local industry by aggressively training and developing our team members and by stocking reliable, high-quality equipment. It’s only in the past year that we’ve seen a return to pre-COVID event levels; most of the work we’ve handled has been corporate for local clients. While uncertainty in the market remains, the NT Series provides peace of mind.”

The Absen NT2.9 panel is a cost-effective solution that delivers an outstanding visual experience. The NT series features high-quality cable connectors for reliable power and data transmission, ensuring stable performance. Additionally, it comes equipped with premium cables to further minimize the risk of failure.

“We are committed to serving our clients with excellence which is why we’ve invested in reliable and quality equipment. The Absen NT series aligns with our goals, offering exceptional visual quality and reliability,” said Char-Ann Husselmann, Lead Project Manager at dB Audio Namibia. “While it’s still early days, we’re seeing our sector return to normal and an increase in demand for products like these.  Working with  Dylan Jones and the DWR team ensures we can keep our promises to clients.”

Char-Ann further praised Absen’s offerings, adding, “Absen is a renowned brand and with accredited training and reliable support from DWR Distribution, we’re confident in our ability to meet our clients’ needs. We received our first stock a year ago, and we’re pleased to add even more to our inventory to continue providing peace of mind to our clients.”

For DWR Distribution, it has been a pleasure working with dB Audio Namibia for almost two decades. “It’s a professionally run company with a lot of heart,” said Dylan Jones. Thank you to David, Char-Ann, and the team for your support and for making the effort to ensure your team attends training like the Absen Certified Engineer Program (ACE).”
