I am Phumi Mncube I come from a very big family of 14. I am a mother of 2 children; a daughter aged 24 years and a son aged 19 years.
I started my career working at McDonald’s in Rosebank as a Shift Manager and remained with them for 7 years.
I officially joined DWR on October 15, 2008 as a housekeeper.
The company sent me on a receptionist/secretarial course in 2015 and I was soon promoted to become the receptionist. My role is to make people feel welcome, whether they are visiting in person or phoning our offices. I have been promoted to assist the Workshop as a Workshop Administrator.
In general I am also responsible for filing and assisting the accounts department as well as ordering stationery.
I enjoy watching TV, listening to Gospel music and cooking.
I do not have any immediate plans for the future but hope that in 5 years time, my children would have completed their education.
