L-Acoustics Drive System Training

Once again Richard Smith takes pleasure in inviting you to attend the L-Acoustics Drive System Training session on 29 March from 9 am to 4 pm at DWR Distribution. Master the configuration, control, and monitoring of a L-Acoustics system from the source output to the loudspeaker inputs. Kindly note that delegates wishing to participate must have L-Acoustics certification: System & Workflow or System Fundamentals.

Learning Objectives

• Identify the components and functionalities of the L-Acoustics drive system within the audio chain
• Implement the drive system hardware so that it is ready for calibration and operation
• Use LA Network manager software for the control and monitoring of the L-Acoustics drive system
• Understand the AVB-Milan audio distribution framework

Prerequisites

• L-Acoustics certification: System & Workflow or System Fundamentals
• Experience in live sound reproduction
• Technical English

Required equipment

• Computer with a mouse
• Latest version of Soundvision and LA Network Manager installed
• Notepad and pen

The course will be hosted at DWR Distribution, Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.

The cost is R250 per person and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
