It brings DWR Distribution great pleasure to welcome Amanda Miranda back to the team! Amanda will be working in the training department, and with her friendly nature, looks forward to helping you with bookings and orchestrating workshops! She will also assist with travel arrangements and marketing.
Amanda initially joined DWR as a receptionist in 2011 and over time, worked in everything from training and travel to internal sales and eventually the service department. Sadly, Amanda was retrenched when the industry initially battled through the Covid-19 pandemic, and it now gives us great pleasure to welcome her back!
“We have been so grateful to see the industry pick up again, so much so that we could ask Amanda to return to DWR,” said Duncan Riley of DWR. “Amanda makes us smile with her warm nature and she is a people person, always making everyone walking into the office feel right at home. The training has picked up over the past two years and has become an integral part of DWR, with us also reaching out to bordering countries. It’s great that Amanda can assist Jaques Pretorius who heads the department and Sherryn Riley in marketing. You can also look forward to seeing more social media posts from her and we hope that our clients will be as happy to have her back as we are.”
Smiles Amanda, “I always knew I was going to return, and even though it has been two years, it feels as though I was never gone. I always loved this industry, missed everyone and can’t wait to see them all again. Even some of the new faces at DWR, like Jade Manicom and Stuart Andrews, are people I knew in the industry before. I’m very happy to be back.”
