Inspired Stages ends the year on a high

Inspired Stages ended off 2014 with a high, as students attended the last three-day school holiday workshop of the year, designed to give insight into the entertainment industry. This successful event was hosted at the GrandWest in Cape Town and was once again presented by the passionate Karen Burt (Planet Productions Code Teen) and Gavin Taylor (GrandWest Entertainment).

“It was a phenomenal 3 days and I personally feel like the richest person alive with the knowledge that together we have made such an unforgettable impact on the teenagers and the next generation,” said Karen Burt.

Message on facebook started rolling in from the participants shortly after the workshop ended, a testimony to what Inspired Stages meant to everyone.

“I personally find it interesting to note how many times Inspired Stages is referred to as family, specifically as many of these teens don’t always have the support in their life journey. It is an honor for each of us involved to be given the highest title of all, Family.”

DWR were proud to sponsor t-shirts for all the delegates, handed out on the last day of the workshop. “The teens are given the opportunity to individualise them and give them the uniqueness which lives in us all,” said Burt.

 The workshops were really amazing 
- Yes I forgot my dance moves but hey its not the end of the world( its because I kept on doing them & freaking myself out).
I met amazing people and catched up with the others…..
I was taken out of my comfort zone and you know what? I didn’t die.. I’m a bit sore but I’m okay. Step out of your comfort zone and I did. 
I hope Deen is okay shame I hope he has a speedy recovery 
-I bet every dancer is literally still sore but guys you were amazing even though we weren’t on point.

Inspired Stages December 2014 was my first time attending this amazing workshop. 
At first I was a bit skeptical but the moment I stepped into Hanover Street I felt like I was part of the family. 
These 3 days has been an absolute blast even though my body hurts because of the intense dancing. I met amazing people who I will remember forever ! Everyone is so talented in their field and give nothing less then 100000% in their performances, I am blessed to be part of the Inspired Stages family. Thank you for the best 3 days of my life (literally). Am I coming back for the next workshop ? DEFINITELY !
