    South Africa’s number one direct selling cosmetic house, Avroy Shlain Cosmetics, hosted their annual three day conference, attended by 850 guests, at the Sandton Convention Centre. Three Robe DigitalSpot 5000s proved to be ideal tools to assist with the theme of travel through the ages and the show was run on a full size grandMA console.

    Randburg based MJ Event Gear supplied the technical equipment and support for the event which took place at SCC’s lavish Pavillian room. Each session welcomed delegates to a particular era varying from the 60’s to date, and was topped off with a Vintage Gala evening.

As the back set which the images were projected onto was an oval shape, Francois van der Merwe from MJ masked the second layer of the DigitalSpots and used Maxedia to send pictures to the first layer. “Because each session had a different theme, it was nice to bring up pictures from the relevant time periods,” commented Francois. The overall effect was well received by his client.
