Robe & Anolis Power the New Disney On Ice show, “Jump In!”

Feld Entertainment Inc., the worldwide leader in live touring family entertainment, launched its newest production of Disney On Ice presents Jump In! on August 29, 2025, in Orlando, FL.

During the 2025-26 season, the tour will play 36 cities, including Miami, Atlanta, Baltimore, Newark, Philadelphia, Chicago, Montreal, Dallas, and Houston. Jump In! takes families on a magical adventure featuring over 50 beloved Disney characters brought to life through world-class skating, aerial acrobatics, and dazzling special effects. Fans join Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy as they journey through unforgettable stories, including Moana 2, Inside Out 2, Frozen, Encanto, Toy Story, Zootopia, and more, creating an immersive experience filled with thrilling moments and lasting memories.

Feld Entertainment’s Sr. Director of Lighting and Sound, Chris Lamb, collaborated with Lighting Designer Nick Whitehouse and Show Director Adam Loosely on a technical design that seamlessly blends cutting-edge lighting, immersive sound, and dynamic staging to elevate the storytelling and bring the magic of Disney On Ice to life.

The lighting design includes 90 Robe iFORTE moving lights for key, overhead, and effects lighting, along with 20 Anolis Divine 60 UV LED luminaires to create impactful UV moments throughout the show. All fixtures were purchased by Feld Entertainment and supplied by Robe North America.

Feld Entertainment has eight unique Disney On Ice productions touring globally year-round. Reliability, durability, and long-term value are critical factors in equipment selection.

One key focus of the design was enhancing the show’s UV scenes, an area that presents unique technical challenges. After testing the Divine 60 UV fixtures, Chris and Nick selected them for their strong performance and IP rating, which allows them to withstand humidity, ice, and low temperatures. The 20 fixtures are installed around the perimeter of the ice to maximize coverage.

“These UV reveals are vital moments,” explained Nick. One standout scene takes place in a dark, bat-filled cave featuring Matangi and Moana, with 16 skaters in UV-enhanced bat costumes. Combined with choreography by Adam Blake and costume design by Robin L. McGee, the Divine 60 UVs create a dramatic and magical reveal as the space is flooded with ultraviolet light.

The Robe iFORTES are rigged across multiple overhead trusses and serve as the primary fixtures for ice washes and textured lighting on both the ice and set pieces. Chosen as a versatile workhorse, the fixtures offer powerful output, rich color, and flexibility.

“The iFORTES give us punchy colors and the ability to create a wide range of moods and environments,” said Lamb. “They’re consistent, reliable, and meet all our production expectations.”

Nick also praised the iFORTE color system, particularly its white range and high CRI, which provide excellent key lighting and accurate skin tones. The show’s vibrant palette benefits greatly from the fixture’s smooth, fluid texturing capabilities, especially its water-inspired sequences tied to Moana 2, which makes Jump In! the first Disney On Ice production to include the franchise.

Robe North America’s Thommy Hall and the team from Robe Lighting, Inc. supported the production by providing fully customized gobos for the iFORTES, further enhancing the show’s visual variety. Feld Entertainment also utilizes Robe iESPRITE moving lights on other touring productions.
