You are invited to the Prolyte Campus presented by Eric Laanstra from Prolyte and Robert Izzett from DWR Distribution. Join us in Johannesburg on 22 and 23 September or in Cape Town on 25 and 26 September, from 9am to 5pm each day.
Prolyte is committed to promoting education and training for the safe and effective use of its products. Hosted worldwide, their campuses offer hands-on learning and valuable insights for riggers, technicians, and professionals working with Prolyte equipment.
The two-day programme covers essential topics including:
- Rigging safety
- Ground support systems
- Wind loading and ballasting
- Usage of chain hoists and hazards of lifting
Additionally, Robert Izzett will present a dedicated session on rigging safety within the South African context, based on the SANS 10366 regulations. His training will cover everything from load calculations to the correct use of rigging hardware, shackles, steel wire ropes, trussing, endless rounds, and chains — all with a strong focus on safety.
