It was a warm welcome to delegates attending the first L-Acoustics System & Workflow Training of the year, hosted at DWR Distribution in Johannesburg on 3 February. Presented by DWR’s Richard Smith, this foundation course was key to enabling delegates to attend future L-Acoustics training sessions.

The course aimed to provide participants with an understanding of the L-Acoustics system approach within the global framework of live sound reproduction, knowledge of the components of an L-Acoustics system, an understanding of the workflow steps involved in a loudspeaker system project and the associated professional roles, as well as familiarity with the L-Acoustics tools used throughout the project workflow.

With a great response to this training, a second course was scheduled for Thursday, 5 February, and it too was fully booked within a day.

The workshops hosted at DWR are well supported, and it’s wonderful to see learners’ passion and interest in strengthening their skills.
