Church Audio Training

DWR Distribution takes pleasure in inviting worship and technical teams to join us for Church Audio Training taking place on 5 April from 9 am to 4 pm at our offices in Johannesburg.

Presented by Jaco Beukes, the Church Audio Training Workshop will cover a range of topics including understanding signal flow and set up, gain structure and console fundamentals, common audio problems and how to resolve them, and on a practical level, listening and mixing exercises.

“We hope to attract delegates who are striving for excellence in everything they do,” said Jaco Beukes of DWR. “Having a better understanding of the ministry of sound helps everyone gain so much more in terms of what the worship team is doing and what is being preached. As sound technicians, we want to be able to reproduce that message correctly, be it the worship or the sermon. The more we understand the discipline of audio, the better we will be equipped to serve in our local Church.”

The nonrefundable fee to attend the workshop is R200 per person and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
