ASM Steuerungstechnik Case Study: Goetheanum, Dornach, Switzerland

Some years ago, ASM Steuerungstechnik were delighted to be commissioned to supply a range of hoists and a lighting bridge to The Goetheanum, the world center for the anthroposophical movement located in Dornach, Switzerland.

The Goetheanum is the headquarters for the School of Spiritual Science and the General Anthroposophical Society.  Events hosted in this space range from lectures on special themes, to large, international conferences, to performances by ensembles and guest performances in Eurythmy, theater, puppetry and music.

Meanwhile, wherever loads need to be hoisted, the ASM product range covers the entire spectrum of applications for point hoists, scenery hoists and stage light hoists. The following equipment was installed:

Scenery hoists: 42x ASM HCWA EcoGrid , 500kg, 1,2 m/s 4x ASM Spider, 650kg, 1,2 m/s

Batten light hoists: 8x ASM HCWA EcoGrid mechanisch gekoppelt, 1200kg, 0,6 m/s

Backlighting hoists: 2x ASM HCWA EcoGrid 750kg, 0,6 m/s

Lighting bridge: 1x ASM Rulo (chain), 4000kg, 0,1 m/s

Forestage hoist: 4x ASM P250TH point hoist special design
