With a heart for people, Duncan Riley has always tried to put relationships as a priority when running DWR Distribution.
The company has grown in leaps and bounds since its start in May 2006, initially operating from Duncan’s double garage at home.
It has been such a humbling journey,” said Duncan. “It’s not always easy, but we have made some wonderful memories. The industry is made up of good people and my own team are close to my heart and obviously as the company has grown, I’ve had to rely on them more and more. I’m very grateful to their support and to the continued support of the industry.”
Duncan’s father is Dan Riley, who was a professional lighting sales specialist who started his career in this industry back in the seventies. Little did he know that both his sons would be stepping in his footprints.
While having a passion for motorbikes, Duncan’s demanding family have steered him to off-roading, camping, long walks and jogging instead! He has two children who keep him on his toes and thanks to his loving wife who has no culinary skills, he has maintained a slim waistline.
