With a great response last year, it brings DWR Distribution great pleasure to once again host the Broadcast Studio Lighting Training Course presented by Andre Rossouw from 12 to 13 July from 9am to 4pm.

The two-day course which will focus on studio lighting, will cover the following topics:

• Lighting Studios – Basic three-point lighting
• Lighting Outdoor Broadcast / OB for a single and multi-camera

Other topics of discussion will include basic camera fundamentals, vision control, ambient and practical lighting.

About our presenter

With a career spanning almost four decades at the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Andre has worked as a lighting designer, electrician and held a specialist position in electrical distribution on outside productions, where he streamlined a system that kept the power on! Andre is recognized for his role in the studio environment and developing the lighting department at the SABC – with equipment ranging from lighting fixtures, digital dimmers, DMX control system, trussing, electric motors and controllers, and has also worked on major televised productions like the SAMA Awards, UN 50th Celebrations, Miss South Africa and countless sporting events.

The course will be held at DWR Distribution, Unit 1, Block C, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.

The cost is R500 and includes a light lunch and refreshments.
