The new PRO AES digital audio cable series with XLR 3pin connectors is now available!

The professional D-Series from KLOTZ is optimized for long transmission distances of AES/EBU signals and currently consists of the four variants D2, D3, D4 and D5.

For the D-Series we only use high-quality digital cables from our OmniTrans AES/EBU series with 2 x 0.22 mm² (AWG24) cross-section. These cables have an exact characteristic impedance of 110 Ohm and very low crosstalk.

The D2 series is made from the ultra flexible high-end digital cable OT2000 with a very low capacitance of 52pF/m (15pF/ft). The D2 cable is perfectly suited as a flexible, mobile studio cable.

The D-Series variants D3, D4 and D5 consist of the double shielded OmniTrans OT206 cable series. While the D3 and D4 digital cables have a black or blue PVC jacket, the D5 digital cable has a blue, robust PUR jacket and a transparent heat-shrinkable sleeve for self-labelling. The D5 series is ideally suited for the daily hard touring life.

The new KLOTZ D-Series is available both with connectors from Neutrik and with the new XLR 3pin connectors from KLOTZ – of course, as always “made in Germany” with the 6-fold KLOTZ quality control according to ISO 9001:2015.
