Astera launches its new Connect Series, extending the performance and creative possibilities of its lighting into permanent and long-term installations – and opening up new opportunities for Astera users and partners.

The first product in the series is QuikBeam Connect, enabled by the TracklightAdapter. The adapter can be fitted to existing fixtures, allowing event, rental, and production companies already invested in Astera technology to transform their equipment into Connect versions for permanent applications.

Turn Existing QuikBeams into QuikBeam Connects
The TracklightAdapter integrates the AC power supply directly into the power compartment, eliminating the battery and visible cables for a clean, elegant luminaire on standard track systems.

The Connect Series marks a new chapter for Astera, bringing the company’s experience in creating high-quality, wireless lighting for entertainment productions into spaces where people live, work, meet – and connect.

For customers, this creates a logical next step to expand their business beyond the event and entertainment markets. Existing equipment can be utilised in new sectors and scenarios, opening up alternative revenue opportunities without requiring an entirely new investment in lighting equipment.
QuikBeam was launched at ISE earlier this year and has already established itself as a successful addition to Astera’s product portfolio. Connect versions will bring Astera’s quality, creativity, flexibility, power, and possibilities into many new environments and applications.
With its smooth colour mixing, crisp CT whites, and extensive colour range – from rich, saturated colours to subtle pastel tones – QuikBeam Connect can add character and atmosphere to a space and transform its mood when needed.
The Connect Series is based on Astera’s belief that architainment installations should be “More Than Light.” It can help define the aesthetics of a space, influence how people experience it, and create lasting memories.

“We’ve been asked to develop non-battery luminaires for a while now,” says Ben Díaz, Head of Product Management. “We didn’t want to simply remove the battery from the QuikBeam. Instead, we wanted to shape the mood of permanent indoor installations with all the well-known Astera features but in a beautiful organic form, so our fixtures participate as meaningful objects in the intended design for the room.”
QuikBeam Connect is available in black, white or any RAL-colour matte finish, both in EUTRACK MultiAdapter and H-Type versions. It allows locking the pan, tilt and zoom functions to prevent the fixture’s orientation or beam angle from moving accidentally, and it supports the attachment of optional barndoors.
