Join Werner Nieman on 30 September from 9am to 2pm at DWR Distribution in Johannesburg for a Roland ProAV Advanced System Configuration and Deployment Training session. This will be a hands-on, in-person course built around the Roland video switcher and AV mixer line.
Across the day, we will walk participants through real, on-the-gear workflows, including:
- Connecting and networking the unit;
- Understanding inputs, scalers, and system resolution;
- Building layered looks with Picture-in-Picture and downstream keying;
- Creating live titles and graphics with Roland’s free Graphics Presenter software;
- Streaming and recording, including direct-to-platform RTMP/SRT;
- Scenes, macros, and sequencer automation for run-of-show events;
- PTZ camera control and system integration using VenueSet and third-party control (Crestron/Kramer-style) workflows.
There will also be time for open Q&A and troubleshooting discussion. Participants will leave with practical operating experience in advanced system configuration and deployment.
The training will be hosted at DWR Distribution, Block C, Unit 1, Kimbult Industrial Park, 9 Zeiss Road, Laserpark, Honeydew.
