Introducing the new VL440 and VLX3 Luminaires Because you asked for them, Philips Vari-Lite has created smaller, more affordable versions of two of its most popular luminaires. The VL440 Spot is based on the workhorse VL3000 Spot but weighs less than 50lbs and is under 25” tall. Despite its compact size, loads of features are packed in the VL440 like an output of 9000 lumens, CYM color mixing, removable fixed colours, removable fixed and rotating glass gobos and a 15 to 35 degree zoom range: along with an independent rotating four facet prism, frost, glass dimmer wheel and strobe. The next generation of the VLX Wash, the VLX3 is made of three VLX LED light engines with an output of 5500 lumens and a 14 to 58 degree zoom range, while coming in at under 21 inches tall and below 43 lbs. The little ones are coming, and with parents like theirs, you can expect them to be bright.
