Realizing that church will be celebrated in homes instead of a conventional building for a while to come, Pastor Craig Rowe of Velocity Church and founder of CDR Equipping, a non-profit company that equips and educates young leaders to serve their communities, is reaching out on-line. He has purchased two Home Desktop Green Screen Solutions from Jaco Beukes at DWR Distribution to help him.

Velocity Church is based in Muldersdrift, a picturesque rural and farming area about 45km from Johannesburg. The church is an active member in the community. Craig and his wife Gina have supported a range of projects, which include the Bethany House Trust (a children’s home based in Krugersdorp), the Siyakholwa Group (a non-profit organization that helps communities to step out of poverty), facilitating the opening of the King School, based on the church’s property, and are always finding productive ways to uplift people living in the region.

“The larger green screen (3m x 4m) will be used at our church,” Pastor Craig explains. “We have obtained broadcasting and filming rights as we believe that we are going to be in this situation for a long time. I also bought the smaller screen (1m x 1.5m), which includes two mini pin lights, for my office at home. During this time, I have been training young people via Zoom, and I wanted to create a solution that would be more professional.”
