The legendary Vari*Lite fixtures are in the country… at last!
DWR Distribution are more than delighted to be the official Vari*Lite agents in South Africa and are now pleased to have six Vari*Lite demo units on display. These are a combination of Wash and Profiles and so far the feedback from the industry has been tremendous.
“The response has been excellent,” commented Dan Riley from DWR. “People are knocked out, and having spoken to someone who works with Vari*Lite overseas, the lights are bulletproof. We are entering into a new era in precision lighting – Vari*Lite is a creative form of lighting opposed to just effects.”
Nick Britz and Robert Izzett from DWR agree that the fixtures are quiet and smooth and those who have come to view the lights have been impressed with the gobos. The gobos are theatrical and have an edge because they are new and something different to what the South African market have seen.
