Hugh Wyllie and Duncan Riley, DWR Distribution DWR Distribution would like to take this opportunity to say good-bye to Hugh Wyllie and wish him everything of the best for the future as he relocates to Surrey, England.
Hugh started his career in theatre at the age of 16, though he formally trained as a dentist! “I started off as a dentist but I have done theatre all my life,” he said. “There is a little theatre in the town I’m going to… perhaps I can potter there.”
His career in South African theatre has including working as a Lighting Designer and Lighting Operator at the Johannesburg Theatre, Theatre on the Square and also at Pieter Toerien’s Montecasino Theatre for the past five years.
Departing next week Wednesday, 16 May 2012, we hope that Hugh will have a good flight and a special time as he reunites with his son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. Hugh says the world is so small with Facebook, and he hopes to keep in touch that way.
On behalf of DWR, we will miss Hugh’s visits as he pops in for a cup of tea and a chat. God-speed Hugh!
