A total of 70 Robin 600 LED Washes, 8 Robin 600 Beams, 12 Robin 300 Spots and 12 Robin 300 Washes have found new homes in the rental market….and the figures are increasing.   Mark Gaylard, MGG Productions   “They’re awesome,” commented Mark Gaylard of MGG Productions who took ownership of 24 x Robin 600 LED Washes, 12 Robin 300 Spots and 12 Robin 300 Washes.   KG Moima and Lesetsa ledwaba, Black Motion   Black Motion’s Kagiso Moima ordered 4 Robin 600 LED Washes. “For me it’s about having fixtures that can be used on television. It means the camera can shoot into the light as the units are flicker-free. The units are bright and the zoom range is amazing,” he said.   Alvin and Anrika Bruinders, Sound Headquarters Africa   Alvin and Anrika Bruinders, the vibrant pair from Sound Headquarters Africa, have purchased 8 Robin 600 LED Washes and 8 Robin 600 Beams. “This is new technology and I needed to make a move on lighting. We have been chatting to Duncan Riley from DWR Distribution. The Robins are hot, very effective and well priced,” said Alvin. “Of course DWR have the after sales service and support which is a big seller.”

Congratulations also to Solid Rock who have 4 Robin 600 LED Washes. Abesh Dhevalall, currently on a roadshow, said to DWR that the zoom was unbelievable.

In Durban, Brandon Bunyan from Black Coffee placed an order for 12 Robin 600 LED Washes wanting something innovative and new to offer his clients. “The fixtures are also light weight, use a lot less power and have a bigger light output then what we already have,” he said.

Also from KwaZulu Natal, Vimal Rawjee of Insane Sound purchased 6 x Robin 600 LED Washes. He is particularly excited about the LED concentric rings that will create effective eye candy and agrees on the light weight and light output benefits.

Owner of SK Sound and Lighting, Alan Baker said, “I’m doing an international show, ‘Cool and the Gang’, and this takes wash to another level.”

dB Audio Namibia is about to take delivery of 6 x Robin 600 LED wash lights. Managing Member David Benade says, “Our industry is small and we mostly supply tech for indoor corporate events. We mostly employ small fixtures for this use. I am very excited about the 600 LED wash as it promises us the mobility and flexibility of a small fixture combined with the amazing output. The fixtures also deliver on all the other advantages of LED lighting such as low power consumption, light weight and small size.” He adds, “Delivery is in two days! We are very excited.”
