Monster Productions & Events kicked off the year by adding to their lighting retinue. They purchased 6 Robin Pointes, 4 Robin 600 LED Washes, 8 Philips Selecon Arena 3K Fresnels, a LumenRadio Wireless DMX kit and an Avolites Titan Mobile.
The gear arrived in perfect timing , allowing some of the kit to be used for the two day Momentum Risk Summit, hosted at Sun City. Monster Productions & Events ran the entire event from logistics to technical.
Their technical manager, KG Malebye, was excited by the Robin Pointes. He loved the beam work and said it made a huge impact to the show, raising the level and overal look of the lighting, to an exceptional standard. The Robe MMXs Spots, some of Monster Productions & Events older stock, were another talking point ensuring bright gobo projection. The client was most impressed!
Up in the Royal Ballroom North, the draw card included speakers such as Max du Preez, South African author and columnist, Simon Dingle, independent writer, broadcaster and consultant and Daniel Silke, recognized as one of South Africa’s leading Political Analysts and Futurists. Adding a touch of frivolously, Pieter-Dirk Uys, a South African satirist, active as a performer, author, and social activist brought in the smiles on day two. An exhibition area was open during refreshment breaks on day one.
For the mostly South African male audience, the evening’s dinner was themed around the 1995 Rugby World Cup. Featuring a guest discussion panel of Kobus Wiese, Joel Stransky, Balie Swart and Hennie le Roux it was an evening not to be forgotten.
