Impro-Vision choose Robe

27 October 2008

Durban based Rental Company, Impro-Vision, set their new Robes to work at the annual Spar Conference held at Sun City’s Superbowl. Spar retailers from across the country attended the two day event held during September which included a gala dinner.

Leon Nel, who founded Impro-Vision in 1989 recently purchased six Colourspot 700 E ATs and hired in an additional 12 from Sound Stylists for the event. Leon’s philosophy has always been to keep up with changing technology in order for Impro-Vision to grow and stay ahead of the pack. He says that his move to Robe was largely due to the support and service from Duncan Riley and his team at DWR Distribution. The Robes were utilized for all the stage work.

Additional equipment comprised of a D&B Sound System, 14 x Martin 400s, 6 x Martin 300s, 6 x MAC 2000s, 10 x 250 parcans and 8 x projectors.  “John Roughly (JR) programmed the evening shows and we programmed the conferences and day time shows which worked well” commented Leon.
