Clay Paky at Prolight + Sound

24 April 2013

Clay Paky experienced a successful Prolight + Sound 2013 last week in Frankfurt, Germany. Traffic in the stand was busy and the company highlighted many new products.

Sharpy Wash 330 is a compact, lightweight 330W washlight, with the luminous efficiency, graphic, and optical performance of a 1,000W fixture. It is silent and quick, and fitted with a complete CMY color system, special colors, 6.5- to 48-degree zoom, mechanical dimmer, beam shaping filter, and motorized top-hat. It is an eco-friendly light, allowing considerable running and consumption cost savings, the company says.

The Alpha Profile 800 ST is a modern moving beam shaper for use in theatres and studios. Clay Paky used highly sophisticated micromechanics to obtain a compact, light, silent unit with a bright light and a zoom capable of producing an extraordinarily sharp, perfectly uniform beam. Features include: miniaturized four-blade framing system, 11- to 55-degree linear zoom with additional narrow 7.6-degree angle; exclusive autofocus system; Dyna-cue-creator function; 6,000K light beam; and near operating silence.     GlowUp Strip 100 is an LED bar for professional stage lighting, with mixed battery/mains power supply and mixed cable/wireless control. Ten powerful RGB-W multi-chip LEDs are arranged in a line inside a 100cm linear aluminum housing suitable for outdoors use (IP65). The fixture creates a curtain of brightly colored light, with a beam angle adjustable from 14- to 70-degrees. The original “white power saving” function helps optimize power consumption.
