If we told you that the Le Maitre MVS Hazer runs on no electricity and a whiff of fluid you wouldn’t believe it. So we thought we would give you the information right from the horse’s mouth!
“The Le Maitre Hazer is the best piece of equipment I’ve bought this year,” commented Brandon Bunyan from KwaZulu Natal based Black Coffee. “We bought it a month ago and I recently used it for a Bollywood Show at the Sun Coast Casino, where the only complaint we had was from the photographers!
It’s common knowledge that the general public always complain about smoke but of course without the use of smoke or haze, moving lights are pointless. Brandon found the hazer to be subtle yet effective.
The event was held in a 60m x 25m sized marquee. “It took eight minutes to haze the air conditioned marquee which was right near the sea and there was a lot of wind.” That said he adds, “There was adequate haze for the show which was three hours long. We had four shows and three rehearsals, with each rehearsal a day long. The haze was on the whole time and we used half a bottle of fluid!”
Brandon says the machine ran on a 70% intensity for 58 hours. “We had the electrician check it out and he said it used no power! In addition it is really quiet and after striking we found no residue which is a big!”
