Joburg Theatre stars Robin 800s

The Joburg Theatre have taken delivery of ten Robin 800 LEDWash units, supplied South African distributors, DWR. The new lighting fixtures will complement vibrant productions being staged over the festive season including Snow White the fairest Panto in All the Land!, Helen O’Grady, Sati – Shivas Beloved and Mukokoli Live DVD recording.

“There has been no looking back since the theatre first started investing in Robin 800 LEDWash a few years ago,” said Enos Ramoroko, Technical Manager at the theatre. “They have really worked well for us and we are pleased to now have 34 units in total. Thank you very much to DWR for the quick delivery, which arrived sooner than we anticipated.”

The enhanced ROBIN® 800 LEDWash takes Robe’s patented system for seamless, even and smooth zoom and output of RGBW multichip LED technology a step further. Brighter LED chips and a removable beam shaper module with motorized rotation creates the perfect combination for theatre, TV and other professional applications. The fixture has an incredibly wide zoom range starting at 8 degrees and going up to 63 degrees.
