It was a fantastic turn out for the Robe Roadshow hosted in South Africa by DWR Distribution in February.
The roadshow was held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, which meant that clients in most parts of the country could once again meet up with Robe’s Josef Valchar and Harry von den Stemmen and be exposed to their latest equipment, namely the Robe Square, BMFL WashBeam, Viva, Robin DL7S, DL4S, Robe Strobe and Robin 1000 LED Beam.
“The DWR Road Show was another one in a series of events, in which a very professional and committed DWR team and their passionate back office brought Robe’s latest products to everyone’s attention,” commented Harry von den Stemmen. “A record breaking number of attendees rewarded the team for the effort. While most of the established customers attended, it was the new crowd, the young faces, who made it special. This is the next generation of professionals who will conduct tomorrow’s business and it is awesome to have them participate in these shows. Robe will continue to fuel the market with innovative products, and we love South Africa, so we will always give our special support to it!”
Duncan and Bruce Riley, Nick Britz, Robert Izzett, Nick Barnes and Bradley Bruchhausen represented DWR. “In some ways it felt like old times,” said Duncan. “I often find myself tied up in the office, and for me it was so important to see everyone again. The new products from Robe are outstanding and were well received. Thank you to Robe for their continued support. It was great to see Nick Britz taking all the clients through the new products professionally and with a bit of humour, the response was just amazing.”
The Robeshow was hosted at DWR in Johannesburg, The Rivers Church in Durban and at the Roxy Revue Bar at the GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World in Cape Town. “Rivers Church and the team at GrandWest were amazing and so good to us,” said Duncan. “Thank you very much for allowing us to make use of your venues.”
